Charities That We Support!

We are supporting many charities here in the UK and also International Aid Agencies. Here at Destiny Calls, we are great believers in 'giving back' or 'putting back' into the system!.  I am a great supporter of many charities, especially animal charities. Below you will find a list of the charities and organisations that we support on a monthly basis.  The revenue from the downloads that we sell on our services/readings page, automatically go to help the listed organisations here on this page.  Charities are added all the time, if you have any particular charity you would like to include on our list, please use the "contact" page to send us your request or suggestions.

*NB*: We all generate good karma for the 'good will' we offer not just our fellow man, but also the animal kingdom.

SHELTER: (https://england.shelter.org.uk/support_us): advice and support services offer one-to-one, personalised help with housing issues and homelessness.

PROSTATE CANCER: The cancer charity’s campaign intended to raise awareness around prostate cancer in the UK, which kills an estimated 11,500 men a year, with the spot’s key message being: ‘Imagine a day without our dads.’ “Thirty men die of prostate cancer every day. That is 30 dads, uncles, brothers and friends who will be lost this Father’s Day alone,” Prostate Cancer UK.

SMILETRAIN: (https://www.smiletrain.org.uk/) Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft-focused organisation, with a sustainable and local model of supporting surgery and other forms of essential, comprehensive care. Since 1999, we have supported safe and quality cleft care for 1.5+ million children and will continue to do so until every person in need with a cleft has access to the care they deserve.

WWF: (https://www.wwf.org.uk/) WWF works to conserve endangered species, protect endangered spaces, and address global threats to the planet such as climate change. Much of our work is for the protection of endangered animals in the wild – including the tiger, the rhino and great apes - but we do not have the experience or expertise to deal with issues relating to animals in captivity.

BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION: (https://www.bhf.org.uk/) Find out about our current campaigns and how you can support them. With your help, our researchers could find treatments and cures for heart and circulatory diseases sooner and keep families together longer.

RSPCA: (https://rspca.org.uk/) The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is a charity operating in England and Wales which promotes animal welfare. The RSPCA is funded primarily by voluntary donations. Founded in 1824, it is the oldest and largest animal welfare organisation in the world[2] and is one of the largest charities in the UK.[3] The organisation also does international outreach work across Europe, Africa and Asia.
